TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made on this resort website. We kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a Booking.

1. Bookings
At the time of booking, full payment of your entire stay will be charged. We will take your credit card details and you authorise the use of this card for any sums that become owing to us. No Booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment described in this paragraph have been provided.

2. Charges
Rates displayed on the Website indicate the total room charge for your requested stay. Any other additional charges is not included unless specified. A minimum length of stay, deposit, cancellation charges and other conditions may apply to certain rates as specified.

Room occupancy and rates are based on number of persons in each room. Should the number of persons staying is more than what is stated during booking, the Management reserves the right to charge for every additional person occupying the room.

Children under the age of 5 may share parents’ room with existing beddings at no extra cost. Children aged 5 – 12 will be considered as adults when booking a room.

3. Check-in/ Check-out Time
In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference and their passport/identity card.

Unless otherwise stated on the booking confirmation, Guests may check-in from 3:00 p.m. on the scheduled day of arrival. All rooms that have been prepaid at the time of booking will be held until 10:00 p.m. on the scheduled day of arrival unless otherwise agreed directly with the Resort. If Guest is arriving later than the scheduled day of arrival, please inform the Resort ahead of time and no refund will be given.

On the day of departure we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 12:00 noon. Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability and may attract additional charges at the discretion of the Resort.

4. Payment
We accept the following methods of payment: credit cards: Visa and Mastercard/Cash/E-wallet/Bank transfer.

All outstanding charges must be paid for in full on check-out from the Resort. If staying for multiple nights at the Resort we may require you to make payment for any outstanding charges upfront or on a more frequent basis during your stay.

5. Changes or Cancellation by the Company
In the unlikely event that your booking is cancelled by the resort, you will be given a full refund but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, use reasonable endeavours to try and re-locate any confirmed Booking cancelled by us to an alternative location similar in standard to the Resort.

Your booking is for a Room Type in the Resort and does not guarantee that you will be able to stay in a room or in the same room for the duration of your stay. We may need to allocate an alternative room to you for operational or safety reasons. If we need to move you to a different room during your booking for which a lower rate is available than the rate you booked at, we will refund you the difference in the rates.

6. Damage
We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Resort during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.

7. Resort Events
Please be aware that at certain times throughout the year, our Resort may host events and parties, which you may feel would be an intrusion on your stay. Please contact the Resort directly in advance of your stay for further information.

8. Guest Behaviour
Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Resort, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Resort if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.

9. No Cooking
Cooking using any electrical or non-electrical appliances is strictly not allowed in the room except the Family Suite that are equipped with a kitchenette. We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge you for any damage and specialist cleaning costs (caused by cooking) incurred to your room, your balcony or the resort during your stay. A charge of RM500.00 will be imposed if any cooking is done in your room, your balcony and/or on the beach.

10. Pets
No pets are allowed at the Resort.

11. Personal Information
All personal information stored and used by us is done so in accordance with our Privacy Policy which is available on http://www.casahillresort.com.my

12. Force Majeure
The Resort accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.

13. Limitation of Liability
The Resort will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any property left in the Resort.

14. Website Information
While all reasonable efforts have been taken to ensure the accuracy of information on the Website, the Resort does not accept responsibility for errors or omissions and reserve the right to amend, cancel or vary any of the arrangements featured on the Website without notice. Please note that in certain circumstances, generic photographic images have been used to represent the general style of a particular product or Resort.

The content of the Website is the copyright of the Resort, and may not be copied, reproduced, published, distributed or amended for any other purpose without our prior written consent.

Hyperlinks to third party websites are provided for your convenience. We cannot accept responsibility for the content or use of third party sites.

The Website is operated by CASA HILL RESORT wholly owned by ALPHA VALE DEVELOPMENT SDN. BHD.

PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy together with our Terms and Conditions sets out the basis on which any personal information that Alpha Vale Development Sdn. Bhd. collects from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

Information that we may collect from you

We may collect and process the following personal information about you in relation to our website:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our website. This includes information provided at the time of :
  • if you contact us through email, we may keep a record of that correspondence;
  • information that you provide when completing surveys that we use for research purposes;
  • details of transactions (including details of payment cards used) that you carry out through our website;
  • details of your visits to our website including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and/or the resources that you access; and
  • information that you provide when you enter a competition or promotion; and,

  • information that you provide when registering to one of our programmes, including, but not limited to, registration to our website;

We process personal information about you for the purposes of:

  • providing you with our services;
  • dealing with your booking, enquiries and other requests;
  • administering your booking and other services;
  • tailoring our services to your requirements and preferences;
  • direct-marketing products and services, advising you of news and industry updates, events, promotions and competitions, reports and other information and carrying out market research campaigns; and
  • providing you with information about other products, special offers and services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes. This may include products and services made available by selected partners.

We may contact you by telephone for these purposes.

Information that you enter into our booking forms

Information that you enter into our booking forms may be collected and stored by us so that we may contact you in relation to your booking/enquiry/attempted transaction. This may be used to send operational emails to you, or to call you to respond to the enquiry, or for the purposes outlined above, or to enquire as to why the transaction was not completed. We will not use this information for any other purpose, we will not store it for longer than necessary and we certainly will not share it with any other company. Our aim is simply to provide you with the highest level of service that we can.

 

Disclosure of your personal information

We will not sell your personal information to third parties without your prior consent. We may disclose your personal information to: any member of our group of companies, which includes our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries; successors in title to our business; to suppliers and external agencies we engage to process information on our behalf; to third parties (including, but not limited to, professional indemnity insurers, brokers, auditors and other professional advisors); and where disclosure is required by law or any regulatory authority.

Apart from where disclosure is required by law or any regulatory authority, we will only disclose your personal information to our selected business partners and service providers:

  • for the purpose of administrating your requests and any booking;
  • for providing other services which you have requested; and
  • to communicate an offer of other goods and services, with your prior consent.

The internet

Given that the internet is a global environment, using the internet to collect and process personal information necessarily involves the transmission of information on an international basis. Therefore, by browsing our website and communicating electronically with us, you acknowledge and agree to our processing of personal information in this way.

The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted to our website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access or processing. For additional peace of mind, credit card details are not recorded on our website when booking a room.

Our website may, from time to time, contain links to other websites which are outside of our control and are not covered by this Privacy Policy. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for other sites’ privacy policies. If you access other websites using the links provided, please check their policies before submitting any personal information.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

We will post any material changes that we may make to our Privacy Policy in the future on this page and, where appropriate, we will notify you of the change by email. This will ensure that you are always aware of the information we collect, how we use it and the circumstances under which we may disclose it.

REFUND AND RETURN POLICIES

1. Amendments Policy
To amend a booking please send an email to casahillresort@gmail.com .
Amendments is allowed at least 14 days before the check-in date.
We do not entertain any amendments if it is less than 14 days before the check-in date.
The Resort reserves the right to charge your credit card for any cancellation fees due.

2. Cancellation Policy
There shall be no refund for any cancellation of reservation.
No refunds or credit will be issued for no shows or non utilized confirmed room nights.
Changes or transferability of confirmed booking names are not permitted unless with request made formally and subjected to management approval.
Specific terms & conditions are applicable for group bookings, confined to 10 rooms and above.  Please contact the management for more information.

3. Third-Party Booking Sources
In the case of booking cancellation or modifications made through a third party (website or travel agent), we recommend you first contact the source of booking for assistance.
If you made your reservation through a third party (website or travel agent), cancellations must be made directly with the third party. We are not authorized to cancel and unable to provide refunds for any third-party reservations.
